RULES AND REGULATIONS

Welcome to Europa Camping Village!

You will receive a copy of these rules on arrival. By entering Europa Camping Village, you implicitly accept these rules in their integrity. On arrival, guests are also kindly requested to present a valid identity document in order to comply with legal registration requirements.

1. CAMPING PLACES

Guest registration times are from 7:00 to 22:30.

Minimum stay:

·          low and mid season: 3 nights

·          high season: 7 nights

Guests can choose their own camping place, following the indications of personnel in reception. Please arrange your camping equipment within the marked out space. In particular:

·          Do not obstruct traffic.

·          Do not disturb your neighbours.

·          Park your vehicle within the limits of your chosen place, alongside your tent.

N.B.: Single places may not be occupied by groups of over 6 persons.

N.B.: Underage people are allowed into Europa Camping Village only if accompanied by their parents.

1) Payment of a camping place gives you the right to an electrical power socket (220 Volts, 8 Amps). If you connect to a water tap, make sure that you only deposit grey water into the drain at the water point. Electrical appliances such as stoves, water heaters, micro-wave ovens, etc. are not permitted.

2) The place must be kept reasonably clean and tidy. Guests must vacate their place and leave Europa Camping Village before 12:00 on the day of departure. Failure to do so will lead to the fee for an extra day being applied.

3) It is forbidden to:

·          put up or take down tents during the hours of rest (13:00 to 15:00 and 23:00 to 7:00);

·          dig holes or channels around the tent;

·          sling hammocks between trees;

·          position ropes and stays in such a way as to constitute a hazard to others;

·          occupy places outside the booked area;

·          wash dishes and cookware at the camping place (facilities are provided in the toilet and shower area).

2. VEHICLES

Please use your vehicle as little as possible to ensure quiet and safety for all. Please drive at walking speed, and in any case never exceed 10 km/h.

Vehicles are allowed in only if their number has been recorded during guest registration and is recognised, and provided the relevant access sticker is applied to the windscreen.

Cycling, roller skating, skateboarding, and rollerblading is not permitted after sunset and during the hours of rest.

3. QUIET AND HOURS OF REST

Behaviour, activities, games and the use of equipment likely to disturb other guests is forbidden at all times. In particular, silence must be observed during the hours of rest, between 13:00 and 15:00 and between 23:00 and 7:00. Circulation, access and departure by motor vehicle is forbidden during the hours of rest.

4. CHILDREN

Adults are responsible for the behaviour of their children. Discipline and family needs must not be allowed to disturb other guests or create any risk to health and safety. Children going to the toilets, using the play area or going to the beach must always be accompanied by an adult. The use of bicycles, skateboards and roller-skates must not be allowed to disturb or endanger others.

5. GRILL

Use of the grill is permitted only in ways and in weather conditions that do not create any risk or disturbance. It is strictly forbidden to light fires in Europa Camping Village or on the beach. It is also forbidden to keep any kind of fuel or flammable substance, with the sole exception of one cylinder of gas of maximum weight 5 kg (e.g. “Camping Gaz”, gas mix conforming to the law governing camping gasses). Guests are reminded that the use of domestic gas cylinders is extremely dangerous.

It is forbidden to smoke, use candles (naked flames), or cook inside tents.

6. THEFT AND DAMAGE

Please look after your personal effects and take all relevant precautions. Never leave money or valuables unattended in your accommodation or vehicle. The management of Europa Camping Village declines all responsibility for lost or stolen objects and valuables and also for damage to property and injury to persons unless resulting directly from the negligence of staff. Europa Camping Village has a number of strongboxes available for hire at the cashier’s office, from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

Management declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters and public disorder, and for injury or ill health caused by other guests, insects, epidemics, disease, and vegetation.

7. USE OF TOILETS AND SHOWERS

The toilets and showers are cleaned 3 times a day. The cooperation of guests in keeping them clean is nevertheless essential. Chemical and dry toilets must be kept under caravans and must be emptied into the special drains provided for the purpose near the toilets. The use of formaldehyde is strictly forbidden.

8. ANIMALS

Guest with dogs must occupy a place inside the area reserved for guests with animals. Owners are required to take their dogs out of Europa Camping Village to do their business, and must prevent their dogs fouling inside the village. Plastic bags for the collection of stools are provided at various points around the Camping Village.

Guests must declare all animals on arrival and must produce documentation to prove that they are up to date with vaccinations and animal health requirements. For obvious health and safety reasons, animals may only be bathed and washed at the animal showers near the Camper Service. It is forbidden by law to take animals on to the beach, except to the area reserved for them. Dogs must be kept on a lead day and night. Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their animals.

9. BUNGALOWS – CHALETS – MAXI CARAVANS – APARTMENTS – BOOKABLE CAMPING PLACES

Minimum stay 7 nights. Pets are not allowed (except in the Willerby Roy Maxi Caravans).

Accommodation units are only rented for whole weeks. Guests may arrive and depart on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. The maximum number of persons (adults and children) permitted in each accommodation unit corresponds to the number of beds available.

Accommodation units are equipped with cookware, tableware, blankets, pillows, TV and air conditioning/heating. Dishwashers are installed in the Bungalows, Eco Life Houses and Eco Life Units. Bed linen is provided for all accommodation units with the exception of the Willerby and Willerby Roy Maxi Caravans (bed linen can be hired if needed). Towels are also provided in the Eco Life Houses and Eco Life Units. Guest are not allowed to use their own stoves or cooking equipment.

Departing guests must leave their accommodation unit perfectly clean. Failure to do so will lead to the application of a cleaning fee of 40.00 Euros. The personnel of Europa Camping Village personnel will inspect the accommodation unit between the hours of 7:00 and 10:00 on the day of departure to verify cleanliness.

Accommodation units become available to guests only after 17:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 10:00 on the day of departure.

Bookable camping places become available to guests only after 15:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated before 12:00 on the day of departure. Guests must pay for the entire booked period even in the event of late arrivals and early departures.

If accommodation units or camping places are not occupied by 15:00 on the day after that booked for arrival, Europa Camping Village reserves the right to re-assign them. Guests are nevertheless requested to notify Europa Camping Village, preferably in writing, of any delay or late arrival.

All equipment and accessories are listed in the inventory displayed in each accommodation unit. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by negligence or use.

Guests cancelling bookings shall have a right to a refund of 80% of their deposit provided they inform Europa Camping Village (by letter, fax or e-mail) at least 30 days before the due arrival date. The remaining 20% shall be retained as a cancellation penalty. No refund is due to guests cancelling less than 29 days before the due arrival date or failing to arrive.

10. DAY VISITORS

Day visitors are only admitted at the discretion of management and on payment of a fee. Authorised visitors may enter Europa Camping Village from 8:00 in the morning and may stay only until 20:00 in the evening.

Guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors inside Europa Camping Village.

11. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

A doctor is present every day at Europa Camping Village during the mid and high season, and will receive guests during the hours displayed at the surgery. The doctor treats patients on a private basis, guests will therefore have to pay for his services. Any confirmed or suspected cases of infectious disease must be notified to the doctor and to the management of Europa Camping Village. The nearest pharmacies (chemists) are located in Cavallino, Ca’Ballarin and Ca’Savio.

12. CASHIER’S OFFICE – STRONG BOXES

The Cashier’s Office is open from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19.00.

All campsite passes must be returned at the time of payment. Strong boxes are available for hire during the hours of opening.

To avoid possible delays on the day of departure, guests are advised to settle their bill the day before departure. Payment may be made in cash (only for totals below €999.99), by cheque or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Pagobancomat).

Important note! Credit card payments cannot be made later than Friday morning.

13. COLLECTION OF DOCUMENTS

Documents may be collected at the time of departure against presentation of an official receipt and on return of all Europa Camping Village passes along with any ID bracelets received on arrival.

Management reserves the right to expel any guests judged to have contravened these rules or to have disturbed the piece and harmonious atmosphere of Europa Camping Village or to have inconvenienced the guest community. Guests who have been expelled or who have received warnings may only return to Europa Camping Village against specific authorisation from management.
